This memorial is placed in the center of the village Wirscheid where the Hauptstraße meets the Sessenbacherstraße.
It lists the fallen and missing citizens of the village of WWI and WWII.
It is made of stone and designed like a pillar. The names of the solders are cut on a separate plaque of a black stone. A bronze relief shows a helmet over a collar of oak leaves. On the top of the memorial the iron cross is placed.
