The headstone of J. Richard Murry is located in the IOOF Cemetery southwest of Cement. This is a well kept area with approximately 2245 headstones.

This headstone is a thick gray granite cube with rusticated sides and top. Interestingly, it was noted that it has both the MWA and the WOW seals engraved.

The inscription engraved in the granite reads:

Murry
Nov. 9, 1880
May 15, 1920
