FR Le village de Jausier est situé dans la vallée de l'Ubaye.
Il est dominé par le rocher du Chastel où est disposée une table d'orientation.
De ce point de vue, on peut admirer :
* le village bien sûr !
* la route du Col de la Bonnette/ Restefond, la plus haute route d'Europe (2802m).
* une vue à 360° sur la Vallée de l'Ubaye
* le cimetière, en contre-bas
* certaines des célèbres "villas mexicaines"
* ...
