Cyril is a town of slightly over 1,000 residents. On April 19, 1995, news of the Oklahoma City bombing reached this small community and made an impact.
In front of the Cyril Elementary School, this monument stands as a memorial to the children in the bombing, as well as the children who learned of it and were moved.
The monument reads:
