This topless water tower once served the ghost town of Adamsville, west of Florence, Arizona.

Adamsville was a small farming village founded by Fred Adams in 1870 primarily to trade with the Pima indians. It was wiped out in a flood in 1900. One of the survivors of Adamsville is this water tower, now located on private property. Having lost its top it couldn't retain much water at this time.
