This park started at the end of 1997 due to the passion and dream of one of the partners who always loved animals and had a large colection in a farm.
Because people were always asking him to visit the farm and see the animals he decided to create the zoo.
It was designed with extreme care and detail so that the animals would weel confortable.
Ít´s a private institution dedicated to preserve the species
It´s located in the Barão de São João region in Lagos next to the road from Bensafrim to Barão de São João.
The Zoo has a large colection of birds, monkeys, lemures, a lynx, some reptiles and others.
The entrance fees are:
Adults: 10 Euro / $12.5
Retired: 8 Euro / $10
Children (4 to 10 years): 6 Euro / $7.55
Family (2 Adult and 2 Cildren): 26 Euro / $32.7
It´s open all year.
1 Apr to 30 Sept: 10h to 19h
1 Oct to 31 Mar: 10h to 17h
