A combined WWI / WWII memorial calvary in St Stephen's churchyard, Sneinton, Nottingham.

The memorial consists of a wooden crucifix with bronze figure under a gable which has inscribed bargeboards and a slate roof. A square ashlar pedestal with recessed panels, and a cruciform ashlar base with two steps. Inscribed bronze plaques.

Inscription -

Gable: BY THY CROSS / AND PASSION
Plaque on 6 o'clock face: In grateful memory /of the /men of Sneinton /who fell in the /Great War /1814-1918.
Plaque on side face: To the Honour and Glory of the /Ever Blessed Trinity/ All ye who pass by of your charity pray /for the souls of the Sneinton men who /in the Great War of 1914-1918 laid down /their lives for justice and freedom:/ to whose memory this calvary is/ erected./ Grant to them O Lord, eternal rest /and may light perpetual shine upon them. /1920.

Smaller plaque WWII: To honour /the memory of/ Pte Percy Stanforth/ of the Sherwood/ Foresters Regiment/ Killed in action/ Anzio 1944 aged 20/ Lest We Forget
