FR L'approvisionnement en eau était la principale dificulté des villages perchés de Provence. En l'absence de source, il fallait avoir recours à des puits et parfois à des réservoirs recueillant l'eau de pluie.
L'eau des puits est souvent moins abondante que celles des sources ; mais surtout elle tarit cruellement en été. Les périodes de sècheresse étaient alors une source d'angoisse pour tous les habitants : il fallait aller chercher l'eau très loin, dans la vallée en contrebas et l'économiser le plus possible.
Les habitants de Trigance comptèrent longtemps sur leurs puits. Aucune source assez abondante ne permettait l'installation d'une fontaine dans le village et les travaux à entreprendre pour la construction d'une citerne étaient trop coûteux et importants pour la commune qui les repoussa plusieurs fois.
Le puits de Farlampou date du XVIIIème siècle. Comme tous les puits, il est couvert en pierre pour éviter la pollution et limiter l'évaporation.
Une roue permet de pomper l'eau et d'alimenter la fontaine dont un bac permet aux animaux de s'abreuver

The well of Farlampou dates from the 18th century. Like all wells, it is covered in stone to avoid pollution and limit evaporation.
A wheel allows to pump water and to feed the fountain of which a tank allows the animals to drink
