The Grove Street School is similar in design as the its close neighbor Pleasant Street School. It was designed by Frank Moses as a two room school house and then expanded in 1883 with the design by Fuller & Delano of Worcester. There were 2 entrances one for boys, the second for girls. The Grove Street School was in use before the advent of separate grades in public school reflecting the times of the era.
