This marble gravestone memorializes Burrel James Lann Sr. who was an Arizona Cowboy by profession and pride. The stone features his brands around the edge and a sketch of a cowboy roping from a horse on the right side. The cemetery was created in 1955 and internment is limited to those who live within the school district. It is maintained in its natural desert environment by design. This is the land this cowboy would have ridden and understood.
