The protective hut stands high above the Moselle on a rocky cliff. It is accessible about a coarse steep path within the scope of the local hiking route "Siebenuhrlay".
In the front of the hut a "clock" from which the place has his name is mounted.
From the hut one has a nice view at Hatzenport and the Hatzenporter Werth.
