Rímskokatolický farní kostel svatého Jana Krtitele se nachází ve vesnici Hoštice poblíž okresního mesta Vyškov je kulturní památkou Ceské republiky.

Nejstarším písemnou zmínkou je vysvecení pozdne gotického kostela v roce 1445. V roce 1911 byl kostel opraven, byla dána nová strecha na zvýšenou vež a do ní instalovány vežní hodiny. V roce 1938 byla pozlacena makovice a kostel vymalován. V roce 1999 byla zahájena celková oprava kostela. Náklady na opravu cinily 968 535 Kc. V roce 2003 bylo do nove pozlacené makovice uloženo medené pouzdro s puvodními artefakty a pridány soucasné.

Kostel je spravován Rímskokatolickou farností Hoštice na Hané, Dekanát Vyškov, Arcidiecéze Olomoucká.

The Roman Catholic parish church of St. John the Baptist is located in the village of Hoštice near the district town of Vyškov, a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

The oldest written mention is the consecration of the late Gothic church in 1445. In 1911 the church was repaired, a new roof was given to the raised tower and a tower clock was installed. In 1938, the peak was gilded and the church painted. In 1999, a total repair of the church was commenced. Repair costs amounted to CZK 968,535. In 2003, a copper pouch with original artifacts was added to the newly gilded poppy and added contemporary.

The church is managed by the Roman Catholic Parish of Hoštice na Hané, the Deanery of Vyškov, the Archdiocese of Olomouc.
