"This much awaited 65-storey, 320m-high tower is being built right next to the Petronas Twin Towers and costs a huge RM2.5 billion. It is a mixed commercial and residential building that comprises a hotel, apartments and a mall, and also will be the world's tallest Four Seasons development. It is developed by Ipoh-born Singapore tycoon, Ong Beng Seng, partnering Tan Sri Syed Yusof Tun Syed Nasir and the Sultan of Selangor.
The swanky hotel component, the 343-metre skyscraper will also contain 242 Four Seasons private residences and 27 serviced apartments placed atop a five-storey, 300,000-square-foot luxury retail podium. A Cantonese restaurant and an all-day dining restaurant are among the project's four on-site eateries. Planned amenities include an executive lounge, spa, fitness centre, and rooftop infinity pool with unlimited views of Kuala Lumpur's far-reaching skyline.
A height-to-width ratio of approximately 10.5 makes the tower one of the most slender supertalls in the world. Recent photos highlighting the construction show the extruded form of the building taking shape as its tinted skin is applied.
