Clarence Tillenius grew up in the Interlake area of Manitoba and painted its abundant wildlife. His dioramas at the Manitoba Museum are likely his most famous works. This trail, located in the Clematis Wildlife Management Area, tells the story of his life through a series of interpretive panels.

The whole trail is a three kilometer loop. A shortcut at the half way point allows for a shorter 1.5 kilometer hike.

While it is a pleasant walk in the woods, the trail is largely lacking in scenic beauty. Caution must be exercised as the trail is poorly marked and there are many side trails, so it is easy to lose one's way.
