The Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill served the parochial school of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish from 1956 through 2012. Elizabeth Ann Seton was their founder. She was canonized in 1975 and is the patron saint of schools and Loss of Parents. Born in 1774, she founded the first religious order for women, the first Catholic School and the first orphanage. She died in 1821.
