The Queens Head is located in a row of shops on Kidsgroves main shopping street.

The Queens Head has a hanging pub sign that shows a painted picture of Queen Elizabeth 1's head.
The name was popular during her reign but became more popular during the long reign of Queen Victoria.

This is a Victorian-era town centre pub with a large, basic bar, plus two games rooms leading off a central corridor, one with a pool table, the other with a dart board. It was the CAMRA Potteries Pub of the Month January 2015.
