Charlie Bassett's is a roadside pub roughly half way between the City of Stoke-on-Trent and Cheadle and opposite All Saints Church.

The hanging pub sign depicts a larger than life character with moustache and red nose with an empty beer glass in his hand.

Charlie Bassett's public house is named after one of its former landlords, Charlie Bassett. It was originally named the Colliers Arms and was renamed as The White Lion from 2010 to 2014.

This pub is a family friendly pub with an open-plan inside after a recent refurbishment. It has a good size car park and a pleasant beer garden complete with smoking shelter.
Lunchtime Meals are served on Saturday & Sunday.
Evening Meals are not served on Sunday or Monday.
