100 years ago, on September 23, 1913, Roland Garros crossed the Mediterranean with Morane-Saulnier type G.
By linking Fréjus in France to Bizerte in Tunisia, the aviator became the pioneer of the Mediterranean crossing. To celebrate the centenary of 1st flight of this type, the replica Morane-Saulnier type G (MSG 2013), built by a group of enthusiasts and the association Replic'Air, carried out this mythical aerial crossing on Sunday.

Il y a 100 ans jour pour jour, le 23 septembre 1913, Roland Garros traversait la Méditerranée avec le Morane-Saulnier type G.
En reliant Fréjus en France à Bizerte en Tunisie, l’aviateur est devenu le pionnier de la traversée aérienne de la Méditerranée. Pour célébrer le centenaire de 1er vol de ce type, la réplique du Morane-Saulnier type G (MSG 2013), construite par un groupe de passionnés et l’association Replic’Air, a effectué cette traversée aérienne mythique dimanche.
