EN: This old stone fountain is located on the eastern edge of Schloss Wildegg in the entrance area. The fountain is quite simple. The square trough has notched indentations on the sides and the column is without any embellishments.
The fountain is not dated. However, it clearly bears traces of age, and also the rings on the front belong to a time when horses and cattle were watered at fountains like this.
DE: Dieser alte Steinbrunnen steht am Ostrand von Schloss Wildegg im Eingangsbereich. Der Brunnen ist ziemlich einfach. Der viereckige Trog hat eingekerbte Vertiefungen an den Seiten und der Brunnenstock ist ohne Verzierungen.
Der Brunnen ist nicht datiert. Er hat aber deutliche Altersspuren, auch die Ringe an der Vorderseite gehören in eine Zeit, als an solchen Brunnen noch Pferde und Vieh getränkt wurden.
