The Courland Pocket/Kurzeme fortress (German: Kurland-Kessel) refers to the Red Army's blockade or isolation of Axis forces on the Courland Peninsula from July 1944 through May 1945. The Kurzeme fortress was one of the last battles of World War II. The conduct of hostilities in Kurzeme fortress and the subsequent fate of Latvian soldiers richly and binding story museum exhibition, there may be familiar with object collections from the Stone Age to the present day. While the open-air visitors can walk through and look at that time restored trenches, bunkers and heavy military equipment.
