Kidsgrove Parish is part of the Staffordshire Police Force that was founded in 1842 and covers an area of over 1,000 square miles. The county has a population of more than a million with a rich diversity of communities, all with specific policing needs. The force is divided into eleven Local Policing Teams.

In 2012 the police force moved from its station on Ravenscliffe Road in Kidsgrove, into the town hall in a bid to save money and create better links with partner agencies. (visit link)

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
