The former Tarantella Night Club was built in 1903 in the Federation Romanesque style with offices on the front ground floor with a warehouse behind and residential accomodation on the upper floors.
The facade is constructed from limestone with contrasting bluestone string courses defining the floor levels,the building is entered through an arched opening supported by two bluestone columns.
The first occupants in 1904 were Norddeutscher-Lloyd Imperial German Mail Steamers and the Imperial German Consul.The building is currently used for Bed and Breakfast accomodation
