Am 22. Juli 2001 konnte auf dem Franziskanerplatz im Schatten der Wallfahrtskirche "Maria Hilf" der vom Bildhauer Hans Wachter entworfene Franziskusbrunnen eingeweiht werden.
Er ergänzt das Ensemble Kloster – Kirche – Franziskanerplatz – Kalvarienberg in attraktiver Weise und wurde weitgehend mit Spenden der Bürger finanziert. Der Kemptener Künstler hat Symbole aus dem Leben des Heiligen Franziskus in meisterhafter Weise einfließen lassen.

On July 22, 2001, the Franciscan Fountain, designed by the sculptor Hans Wachter, was consecrated on the Franciscan Square in the shadow of the pilgrimage church "Maria Hilf".
It supplements the ensemble monastery - church - Franciscan square - Calvary in an attractive way and was largely financed by donations from the citizens. The artist from Kempten has inspired symbols from the life of St. Francis.
