A Begard, le Colombier de Kernaudour a défié le temps et les hommes. Juché sur un promontoire qui domine la vallée du Jaudy, il a fière allure, flanqué de ses deux chênes bonzaï. Construit en granit, il a servi de base à la création du logo de la ville de Bégard. Ce colombier se situe dans le parc de Loisirs d'Armoripark. (Entrée payante)
Armoripark est installé sur l'ancien domaine médiéval de Kernaudour.
Soucieuse de mettre l'accent sur ce riche patrimoine rural, la Ville de Bégard a conservé et restauré le magnifique colombier surplombant le parc, que les connaisseurs apprécieront car il est typique de l'architecture bretonne du 17ème siècle.
Dans un passé plus récent l'ancien domaine seigneurial étant devenu une ferme, les bâtiments ont été conservés
At Begard, the Colombier de Kernaudour defied time and men. Perched on a promontory overlooking the valley of the Jaudy, it has a proud appearance, flanked by its two bonzai oaks. Built in granite, it served as the basis for the creation of the logo of the town of Begard. This dovecote is located in the leisure park of Armoripark. (Paid entry)
Armoripark is set on the former medieval estate of Kernaudour.
Anxious to emphasize this rich rural heritage, the town of Bégard has preserved and restored the magnificent dovecote overlooking the park, which connoisseurs will appreciate as it is typical of Breton architecture of the 17th century.
In the more recent past the former domain became a farm, the buildings have been preserved
