La Pierre aux 3 blasons Avant d’être fixées définitivement, les limites séparant Montpezat des localités voisines Baudinard et Artignosc, donnèrent lieu à une multitude de contestations et de querelles entre habitants des trois villages, si bien qu’en 1733 il y eut vérification et rétablissement des limites de Baudinard avec Montpezat et nomination d’experts. En 1739, députation du greffier de Montpezat à Aix pour consulter sur le procès intenté par le seigneur de Baudinard et la communauté d’Artignosc, au sujet des limites du territoire. Enfin en 1742, une transaction est établie entre les communautés de Baudinard, Artignosc et Montpezat, les limites sont fixées au « trifinium », point de jonction des limites des trois territoires.
Et c’est en 1743 que fut posée à cet endroit précis situé dans le val Valour une pierre de bornage.
Cette pierre existe encore, elle porte sur trois faces les armoiries respectives des seigneurs des 3 territoires..

La Pierre aux 3 blasons Before being definitively fixed, the boundaries between Montpezat and the neighboring towns of Baudinard and Artignosc gave rise to a multitude of Disputes and quarrels among the inhabitants of the three villages, so that in 1733 there was verification and restoration of the boundaries of Baudinard With Montpezat and appointment of experts. In 1739, deputation of the clerk of Montpezat in Aix to consult on the lawsuit brought by the lord Of Baudinard and the community of Artignosc, concerning the limits of the territory. Finally, in 1742, a settlement was established between the Of Baudinard, Artignosc and Montpezat, the limits are fixed to the "trifinium", point of junction of the boundaries of the three territories.  
And it was in 1743 that a boundary stone was laid at this precise spot in Val Valour.  
This stone still exists, it bears on three faces the respective coat of arms of the lords of the 3 territories.

Partir du bord du lac par la route goudronnée. Après 3,4 km, chercher un départ de sentier sur la droite (parking possible en bordure de la route). Suivr ele sentier sur 155 m. From the edge of the lake by the paved road. After 3.4 km, look for a trail start on the right (parking possible on the roadside). Follow this trail for 155 m.
