To locate marker from Mesa Arizona, drive north on Power Rd. to Lower Salt River Recreation Area. Power Rd. turns into Bush Hwy. in the recreation area. Drive east on Bush Highway and turn left on Phon D. Sutton Road. Just north of the intersection, park on the right side of the road in a large turnout commonly used by horse trailers and hikers. In the NE corner of the lot, follow the wide path leading north to the ridgetop for approximately 1000 feet. Leave the path and walk to the west approximately 100 feet to the marker.

There is a cairn of rocks at the marker.
