Sur les piliers du portail du cimetière, vous pourrez voir ses grands sabliers ailés, en relief. Il y en a deux côté extérieurs, mais aussi intérieur du cimetière, soit 4 au total. Ils font environ 40cm de haut.

Ce cimetière accueille également un cimetière militaire de la guerre 1914-1918 :
"Le cimetière regroupe les tombes des soldats morts à Provins dans les quatre hôpitaux et infirmeries qui accueillaient les blessés du front. Certaines familles, consultées après la guerre, ont préféré laisser les dépouilles des victimes sur place. Des soldats français, britanniques et nord-africains y sont enterrés. Le cimetière abrite également deux tombes de grognards (Grognards est le nom donné aux soldats de la Vieille Garde de Napoléon Bonaparte)." (visit link)
