In a clean up project for the City of Russellville, they torn down a lot of old building. Ones that were beyond recovery, and placed the corner stones in a wall used to decorate the new park.
This stone may have been on a gazebo, or other structure, which is now gone.
Railroad Park is where a contamination site used to be and that needed to be clean up also.

The queen is to be crowned during festivities June 12 at Russellville. The "finalists are, from left, Susan Sturm, Michelle Fischer, Patty Stienman and Suzann Sullivan.
Russellville sets festivities - Russellville will mark America's Bicentennial June 12 with a day of festivities, including a parade, square dance and fiddlers contest.
A parade and announcement of a Bicentennial Queen will begin the day at 10:30 a.m. The afternoon will be filled with musical entertainment from country-western, bluegrass, mountain and pop music groups. There also will be a muzzle-loading contest, quilt show, horseshoe pitching contest and displays of old machinery and cars, antiques, arts and crafts.
Game competition for children ages five to 12 will feature a frog leaping race, sack race, bubble blowing, disc throw, tug of war and other races.
An old fiddlers contest is scheduled for 6 p.m. Prizes pranging from $15 to $35 will be awarded to contest winners and there is no entry fee. A square dance will follow the contest at 8 p.m.
