Patrone: Heiliger Josef (19. März) & St. Trinitatis (Dreifaltigkeit)
Erbaut 1695 mit der Erlaubnis der Grafen Löwenstein Wertheim-Virneburg, von den Bewohnern des Tales Virneburg und der Ehefrau des Gerhard Berg auf die Hausstelle des Ehepaares im Bereich der damals schon zerstörten Burg.
Benediziert 1698.
Im 18. Jahrhundert wirken an der Kapelle Frühmessner.
Sie ist Nachfolgerin der damals schon verfallenen Burgkapelle, die unterhalb der Burg gelegen war und einen eigenen Burgkaplan hatte. Sehenswert der barocke Altaraufsatz und die barocke Kommunionbank und das Gestühl.
Sie wurde 1931 von den Töchtern der nach Amerika ausgewanderten Maria Lang geb. Heid wieder hergerichtet"
