[F] Selon son aimable propriétaire rencontré lors de la prise des photos, ce pigeonnier circulaire possèderait 2 250 trous de boulins. Il ferait donc ainsi partie des plus grands colombiers de Touraine.
Construit au XVème siècle il a la particularité de n'avoir jamais eu de toit, ce qui expliquerait sa dénomination de "fuye" (ou "fuie") dans les écrits notariés. Les "fuyards" désigniant les pigeons élevés dans des colombiers qui allaient chercher leur nourriture dans la campagne.

[E] According to its amiable owner met during the taking of the photographs, this circular dovecote would have 2,250 holes of boulins. It would thus be one of the largest dovecotes in Touraine.
Built in the 15th century it has the particularity of never having a roof, which would explain its denomination of "fuye" (or "fuie") in notarial writings. The "fugitives" designating the pigeons reared in dovecoaches who went to fetch their food in the countryside.
