About MiG-15bis
MiG-15bis is improved single-seat fighter version of Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 jet fighter aircraft. The MiG-15 was one of the first successful jet fighters to incorporate swept wings to achieve high transonic speeds. In combat over Korea, it outclassed straight-winged jet day fighters which were largely relegated to ground attack roles, and was quickly countered by the similar American swept-wing North American F-86 Sabre. The MiG-15 is often mentioned, along with the F-86 Sabre, as the best fighter aircraft of the Korean War, and among the best fighter aircraft of all time.
When refined into the more advanced MiG-17, the basic design would again surprise the West when it proved effective against supersonic fighters such as the F-105 Thunderchief and McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II in the Vietnam War of the 1960s.
The MiG-15 is believed to have been one of the most widely produced jet aircraft ever made; in excess of 12,000 were manufactured. Licensed foreign production may have raised the production total to over 18,000.

Kpt. Jirí Sládek provádel kontrolne prejímací let podle maximálního programu v rámci technicko-prejímacích podmínek. Po zkoušce letounu na výšce 10.000m a prezkoušení letounu pri maximální rychlosti (1070km/hod) ve výšce 800 - 1500 m nabral pilot výšku k provedení bojových obratu. Ve výšce kolem 4000m provedl premet a nabyté rychlosti využil k provedení dalšího premetu a v sestupném letu provádel asi 6 klesavých výkrutu za soucasného zvyšování rychlosti. Ve výšce asi kolem 100m provedl prudké vybrání ze stremhlavého letu, pricemž se vytvorily na konci krídel kondensacní sledy. Po tomto vybrání prešel v levé zatácce do mírného stoupavého letu, pravdepodobne vlivem prudkého vybrání ztratil cástecne kontrolu nad letounem , otácení letounu kolem své osy nezastavil, takže se dostal až do polohy na záda nacež prešel do stremhlavého letu a ve stremhlavém letu s úhlem 90 stupnu došlo k nárazu na zem. Pilot na míste zahynul.
