On avait découvert le talent de Sylvain Chaix par de belles fresques réalisées près de son fief de Chalon-sur-Saône, le voici maintenant dans le Jura. Et pour une œuvre à la fois remarquable et sociale.
Pour le côté remarquable, il suffit de regarder. Pour le côté social, les pompiers cherchaient depuis longtemps une idée pour améliorer l’esthétique de cette entrée de la ville. Ils sont allés trouver la Maison Commune avec l’idée de rapprocher jeunes et pompiers, pour ouvrir la caserne sur le quartier de la Marjorie et favoriser la cohésion sociale.
Le thème de la fresque : l’évolution du corps des pompiers lédoniens qui fêtait son bicentenaire cette année-là. La seule exigence artistique : que le camion Renault de 1932 qui trône dans un musée y trouve sa place.
Le projet fut assez compliqué à monter. Il a fallu trouver des partenaires pour financer les 8000 Euros de budget, il a fallu trouver l’artiste, mais le chantier a pu débuter mi-juillet 2011. Le matin, Hetaone anime des ateliers avec une quinzaine de filles et de garçons âgés de 13 à 16 ans. Ils font leurs premiers graffs sur des planches, ils participent au choix des couleurs.
L’après-midi, l'artiste monte seul avec sa bombe sur son échafaudage pour réaliser la fresque. Une animation très réussie, si réussie que tout le monde a voulu apposer sa signature en bas de la fresque.
Et une fresque toute aussi réussie !

In the afternoon, the artist climbs alone with his bomb on his scaffolding to make the fresco. A very successful animation, so successful that everyone wanted to affix his signature down the fresco.
And an equally successful fresco!
