Location of engine: I-70, N. Service Rd., ¼ mile E. of Exit 133, Columbia

This engine has been in this field since, well, at least 2006. I do not know why, I do know it is not let alone. It is kept clean, and weed free. Has been moved but is always back exactly where it is now.

I believe this is a Ford C-Series truck, that was a silent workhorse of the past that labored behind the scenes throughout its life. These dependable trucks, produced through 1957 – 1990, were commonly converted into tow-trucks, waste trucks, cements and fire trucks to name just a few.
