[DE] "Nette-Schieferpfad

Über die steinerne Nettebrücke in Trimbs führt der Weg in die blühende Talaue der Nette. Zunächst dem plätschernden Flüsschen folgend, geht es auf weichen Graswegen bergan. Über seltene Magerwiesen und vorbei an schroffen Schieferklippen wird bald die Trimbser Schweiz erreicht, wo eine grandiose Aussicht auf Trimbs bzw. Welling wartet. Im weiteren Wegeverlauf gelangt der Wanderer durch weitläufige Felder hinauf zum Burberg, hier eröffnet sich ein herrlicher Rundumblick auf das Nettetal. Entlang der Hangkante geht es wieder hinab ins Nettetal.
Im Tal angekommen folgt der Wanderer auf einem schönen Naturpfad der murmelnden Nette. Durch lichte Auwälder geht es langsam aber stetig bergan, bis das mächtige Portal des Tunnels „Hausen 2“ erreicht wird. Abenteuerlust und Eisenbahnromantik ergreifen den Wanderer beim Gang durch den 250 m langen, beleuchteten Tunnel. An dessen Ende bieten sich einzigartige Blicke auf das Nette-Viadukt bevor es weiter in den ruhigen Wald geht. Dem Waldrand folgend ergeben sich immer wieder herrliche Ausblicke, bevor der steile Abstieg zurück ins Nettetal erfolgt. Entlang des Flusses, durch schmale Nebentäler wird nach einigen Kilometern wieder das Ziel in Trimbs erreicht."

Cross the stone bridge in Trimbs, the path leads into the flowering valley of Nette. At first following the rippling stream, it goes on soft grassy paths. Over rare meager meadows and past steep slate cliffs, the Trimbser Switzerland is soon reached, where a grandiose view of Trimbs or Welling waits. In the further course of the trail, the hiker reaches through extensive fields up to the Burberg, here a magnificent panoramic view of the Nettetal opens. Along the slope, it goes down again to the Nettetal.
In the valley, the hiker follows a beautiful nature trail of the muttering Nette. Through sparse floodplain forests it is slowly but steadily uphill until the mighty portal of the tunnel "Hausen 2" is reached. Adventure and railroads take the walker through the 250 m long, illuminated tunnel. At the end of the day, you will have a unique view of the Nette Viadukt before continuing into the quiet forest. Following the edge of the forest there are always wonderful views before the steep descent back into the Nettetal. Along the river, through narrow Nebentäler after a few kilometers the goal in Trimbs is reached again. "
