This obelisk is dedicated to veterans of multiple wars, originally WWI but WWII, Vietnam and Korea were added after. There are three plaques and engravings into the obelisk itself:
Plaque 1:
Dedicated to World War II Veterans
Presented by Dudley Donnelly Woman's Relief Corps Auxiliary to the G.A.R.
Plaque 2:
Dedicated to the memory of those who gave their lives in the service of their country during the Korean War 1950 to 1953.
Presented by American Legion Portage Post 1465
