The Fossil Discovery Exhibit is the largest new exhibit to open at Big Bend since the 1960s. It took years of planning, 18 months to build, and 1.4 million dollars to design, curate, built, and interpret -- but it is worth EVERY PENNY SPENT.
This exhibit will be a very popular place, and despite being designed to allow maximum light and air-flow into the exhibit, the exhibit also runs on solar power, so that folks can visit in the evenings or early mornings.
