Mass DPW 9025 - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

From the MHD site:

"Located in the eastern section of Braintree, at the Rte 53 bridge over the Weymouth Fore River. The mark is a Mass DPW disk that is set in the SE concrete end cap, which has the seal missing, dated 1974, and is about 1 foot above the level of the road. The mark is 31 ft east of the center of Rte 53 and 15 ft north of a lighting pole."

The description is spot on, with two notes: Rte 53 is known as Quincy Ave here, and the seal has apparently been replaced since the description was written.
