[EN] This monument, inaugurated in October 1912, was made in memory of the soldiers who died during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-1871.

The choice was based on the model of the Mobile, soldier of the Mobile Guard.

Camped on a high stone base, the soldier, in bronze, is shown resting on the right leg, with the rifle in hand, ready to fire on the enemy.

[FR] Ce monument, inauguré en octobre 1912, fut réalisé en mémoire des soldats morts au cours de la guerre franco-prussienne de 1870-1871.

Le choix se porta sur le modèle du Mobile, soldat de la Garde Mobile.

Campé sur un haut socle de pierre, le soldat, en bronze, est représenté en appui sur la jambe droite, le fusil en main, prêt à tirer sur l'ennemi.
