Bertolt Brecht oder Bert Brecht war ein einflussreicher deutscher Dramatiker und Lyriker des 20. Jahrhunderts. Seine Werke werden weltweit aufgeführt. Brecht hat das epische Theater beziehungsweise „dialektische Theater“ begründet und umgesetzt.
Die Stadt Augsburg ehrt ihren großen Sohn, indem sie sein Geburtshaus in ein Museum, das Brechthaus, umgewandelt hat.
Vor dem Museum steht eine Silhouette von Brecht. Mehrere davon sind an bestimmten Stellen in der Stadt verteilt, überall dort, wo Brecht beispielsweise gewohnt, oder gearbeitet, oder gelernt, oder studiert, oder gegessen, oder etwas getrunken hat. ;-)

Eugen Bertolt Friedrich Brecht was a German poet, playwright, and theatre director of the 20th century. Hi was born in Augsburg.
