Na nevelkém prostoru mezi prucelím fary, prubežnou silnicí a záverem knežište kostela umístené sousoší Panny Marie s Ježíškem predstavuje významnou ukázku ranné tvorby v blízkém Mikulove mezi lety 1720–1756 usazeného sochare Ignáce Lengelachera. Ve svém celku spíše komorne ladené kompozicní usporádání tohoto socharského díla je tvoreno z ctyrbokého soklu na odstupnené profilované patce, obehnaného na vnejší strane ctvercovým balustrovým zábradlím s piniovými šiškami a puvodne i postavami andílku na jeho svrchní ploše. Sokl s vyloženou profilovanou rímsou na vrcholu akcentují po stranách volutová krídla, sousoší Panny Marie s Ježíškem v nárucí je usazeno na široké oblacné podstave s lucernou ve forme šesticípé hvezdy ve spodní cásti. Postavu sedící Madony obepíná zvlnená drapérie jejího plášte, s láskyplným pohledem pritom v mírném úklonu hlavy k pravému rameni pridržuje na hrudi Ježíška, líbajícího matcinu tvár. Ježíšek stojí Marii na klíne, levou nožkou se jí opírá o kolena a pravou drží nakrocenou na Mariine levém predloktí; obema rukama se vztahuje a objímá její šíji. Hlavy obou jsou zdobeny zlacenými paprsky božské glorioly. S velkou mírou lyricky podbarveného realismu ztvárnená kompozice zaujme predevším v modelaci kamene jemne a citlive ztvárneným niterným vztahem mezi Pannou Marií a Ježíškem. Znatelné je to predevším v pevném vzájemném objetí rukou a v „propojení“ obou hlav v úrovni tvárí. Na tento moment pritom soucasne rozhodným gestem levé ruky ukazuje rovnež andílek klecící u Mariiných nohou, jenž k nemu s dolu nasmerovaným pátravým výrazem v obliceji de facto vlastne prímo prenáší oko prípadného diváka; tri další okrídlené hlavicky andílku na oblacné podstave pak svým dramatickým výrazem dodávají celému výjevu aluzi nadpozemské a skoro až extatické ušlechtilosti.

On the small area between the facade of the parish ongoing road and finish the chancel of the church statue of the Virgin Mary with Jesus is an important example of early production in the near Mikulov between 1720-1756 established Ignac Lengelacher. Madonna figure sitting surrounds the undulating drapery of her cloak, with a loving gaze while in a slight bow of the head to the right shoulder to the chest holding the infant Jesus, kissing his mother's face. Santa Claus stands on Mary's lap, his left foot rests on her right knee and holds precariously on Mary's left forearm; both hands covered her neck and hugs. Both heads are decorated with gilded rays of divine aureole. With a great degree of realism died by lyrical compositions played by especially interested in modeling stone gently and sensitively ztvárneným inner relation between the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus.
