"This hand crafted tin clock first graced the great hall of the original terminal building. Upon completion of the current terminal in 1965, the clock was moved to again be prominently displayed and assist travelers. During the expansion project of the 1980s, the clock was removed during construction and placed in storage. As we move to the next era of commercial aviation in Albuquerque, we proudly return this treasured work of art to the citizens and visitors alike. that it may remind them of the facility and people who have proudly served for the past seven decades and will continue to in the many years to come."
