Gideon Warner's grave is located about ten feet to the left and behind the flag pole near the small flag in the picture above. The cemetery is fenced and only available by appointment. To gain access call (630)668-1616.

Gideon Warner, Massachusetts native, enlisted April 20, 1778 and served for a year as a private in Captain Pomeroy's company of Colonel Woods regiment in the New York State area. He is the only veteran of the Revolutionary War buried here in 1843. ~ text of sign
