Created by Marianne Colombani in 1987, the mural was restored in 2006. It is dedicated to Fanny.

Raimu was the stage name for the French actor Jules Auguste Muraire (Toulon, 18 December 1883 – Neuilly-sur-Seine, 20 September 1946). He is most famous for playing César in the Marseille trilogy (Marius, Fanny and César).
