From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.5 miles. Turn left onto George McAllister Road, FR2060. Continue about 0.4 miles and bear right onto FR2061. Continue 3.9 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on galvanized iron pipe in a collar of stones; rising 6"
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner bears E, about 1790' from the centerline of FR2061. Found two sawed stumps, one on the ground, with yellow BEARING TREE tags and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on the backsides. There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs mounted on a U- post which bears E, 29" distant from the corner.
What property is this mark defining?:
Firs Holdings LLC property N of the corner, else Deschutes National Forest;
