 Description de la façade de la maison de la douane réalisée par l'artiste local «Alberto» :
Les relations transfrontalières entre l'Allemagne et la France sont mises en exergue sur la façade de l'ancienne maison de la douane à Sasbach au Kaiserstuhl. A côté des drapeaux des deux pays, les emblèmes de la région sont représentés par l'artiste. Au centre du tableau, le spectateur reconnaît le Rhin flamboyant au coucher du soleil, vu par la rive allemande du Rhin en regardant vers les Vosges. Sur le côté gauche du tableau sont représentés le Haut Koenigsbourg en Alsace et des grappes de raisin Riesling. A droite, vous voyez la chapelle «Litzelbergkapelle», un emblème de Sasbach, ainsi que des grappes de raisin Spätburgunder, la base de notre vin rouge excellent.
Le ruban rouge flottant symbolise les liens transfrontaliers amicaux entre les deux pays, et surtout les liens entre Sasbach et Marckolsheim.

The cross-border relations between Germany and France are highlighted on the facade of the old house of the customs to Sasbach in Kaiserstuhl. Next to the flags of both countries, the emblems of the region are represented by the artist. In the center of the picture, the spectator recognizes the Rhine blazing at sunset, seen by the German bank of the Rhine by looking towards Vosges. On the left-hand side of the picture are represented the Haut-Koenigsbourg in Alsace and bunches of grapes Riesling. To the right, you see the chapel "Litzelbergkapelle", an emblem of Sasbach, as well as bunches of grapes Spätburgunder, the basis of our excellent red wine.
The floating red ribbon symbolizes the friendly cross-border links between both countries, and especially the links between Sasbach and Marckolsheim.

 Bildbeschreibung der vorn einheimischen Künstler „Alberto" gestalteten Fassade des Zollhäusles :
Die grenzüberschreitende Beziehung zwischen Deutschland und Frankreich steht im Blickpunkt des ehemaligen Zollhauses in Sasbach am Kaiserstuhl. Neben den Flaggen der beiden Länder werden auch besondere Wahrzeichen der Region künstlerisch überbracht. In der Bildmitte erkennt der Betrachter den Rhein im Abendrot mit Blick von deutscher Rheinsehe in Richtung Vogesen. Auf der linken Gesamtansicht sind die Hochkönigsbur im Elsass und die Rieslingtrauben dargestellt. Rechts dann ein sasbacher Wahrzeichen die „Litzelbergkapelle" und die bekannten Spätburgundertrauben unseres hervorragenden Rotweins.
Das rote, leicht schwebende Band soll die grenzüberschreitenden, freundschaftlichen Bande aufzeigen, die die beiden Länder und gerade Sasbach mit Marckolsheim verbinden.
