First of all Lee is the middle name for LK of LB's Team. But the possible history may come from the fact that the developer of Lehigh Acres was a man named Leonard Lee Ratner, known mostly by the name Lee Ratner.
Lee Ratner was a businessman from Chicago who in the early 1950's formed the d-CON Company. At approximately the same time he purchased land in Lee County, Florida that would later become Lehigh Acres.
Is this intersection named in honor of him or is it just a coincidence?
