The Journey Through Hallowed Ground National Historic area is a 175-mile byway that meanders through parts of PA, WV, MD and VA. The Area promotes the rich industrial and cultural heritage of these areas, with particular emphasis placed on the regions roles during the Civil War.
There are NPS passport cancellations located at each of the National Park Units along the byway. As well, there are additional cancellation stations located at the 23 NPS sites as well as 14 different Visitor Centers/ and Convention and Tourist Bureaus.
