FR/La première chose qui attire l"oeil, c'est le clocher carré, aux murs épais, renforcés par des contreforts.
La chambre des cloches à deux niveaux superposés, abrite le beffroi où sonnent les cloches dont le mécanisme a été restauré et automatisé en 2005.
Chacune des faces est percé de deux fenêtres en plein cintre munies d'abat son.
La base octogonale de la flèche est entourée de quatre étroites lucarnes à pointe triangulaire.
Construite entièrement en moellons, la flèche date du XVéme siècle.
La surélévation de l'Eglise est particulièrement visible au niveau du chevet où la corniche indique le niveau d'origine du toit.
A l'intérieur, le coeur comprend deux travées voûtées délimités par des arcs, retombant sur des chapiteaux.
L'abside semi circulaire est voûtée en cul de four.
Entre autre éléments intéressants, la cuve baptismale du XIIéme siècle est taillée dans un seul bloc. A noter aussi les vitraux du XIXéme et du XXéme.
L'Eglise St Urbain est inscrite à l'inventaire des monuments historiques depuis le 4 mai 1944.
EN/The first thing that attracts the "eye, the square tower, with thick walls, reinforced by buttresses.
The bell chamber in two superimposed levels, home to the belfry where the bells are ringing, the mechanism has been restored and automated in 2005.
Each face is pierced by two arched windows with shades of sound.
The octagonal base of the arrow is surrounded by four narrow triangular dormers peak.
Built entirely of rubble, the spire of the XVth century.
The elevation of the Church is particularly visible at the bedside where the cornice indicates the original level of the roof.
Inside, the core comprises two vaulted bays separated by arches, falling on capitals.
The apse is semi-circular vaulted ass oven.
Among other interesting elements, the baptismal font of the XII century is carved from a single block. Note also the stained glass windows of the XIXth and XXth.
The Church St Urbain is listed as a historic monument since May 4, 1944.
