The owners of this small farm purchased it to retire on. The first year, they planted some pumpkins, and put the harvested crop on a hay wagon along side the road with a "for sale" sign. The crop was soon sold out.
They then started building onto the idea of a pick-your-own patch. Each year they added some new item to help attract customers. Now, you can come and enjoy an adventure with the children.
There is a corn maze for the older ones and a hay maze for the younger ones. There is a petting zoo with rabbits and goats. A haunted barn will get your heart pumping. This can then be followed by a 1/3 mile train ride through the spooky forest and around the pumpkin patch, on a 15 gauge railroad. A relaxing tractor-pulled hay ride will take you through the great pumpkin patch, where you can stop to find that special pumpkin. There is a food trailer available if you get hungry or thirsty. The souvenir shop has lots of craft items and goodies. Of course, if you're there just to buy a pumpkin, there are prepicked ones available.
Bring your pocketbook. There is a $1.00 entry fee and fees for many of the attractions.
