Der Penny Smasher in Ferropolis steht vor dem Bistro.
Ferropolis, die Stadt aus Eisen befindet sich auf einer Halbinsel im Gremminer See, nördlich von Gräfenhainichen.
Die Halbinsel und der Gremminer See waren zu DDR Zeiten bekannt als Tagebau Golpa Nord. Hier wurde Braunkohle abgebaut.
Ab 1991 begann man mit der Sanierung zur heutigen Nutzung als Veranstaltungsort und Ausstellung.

The Penny Smasher in ferropolis precedes the Bistro.
Ferropolis, the Iron City is located on a peninsula in Lake Gremmin, north of Gräfenhainichen.
The peninsula and the lake were known Gremminer GDR times as an open pit Golpa North. Here lignite was mined.
From 1991, we started with the renovation to the current use as a venue and exhibition.
